 .This was extremely fun to do. Now I really know how to work my white charcoal.  The photo isn't very good, but it's very difficult to get a good photo of black paper.Tools Used: White Charcoal Pencil Pencil HB, 6B Kneaded eraser Black pastel paper Time Taken: About 2 1/2 hours. Yes, the shortest time I've spent on a drawing that I'm happy with in...years. Comments

-- -- Want to know how to get millions of page views? go here www.deviantart/funkytoast ! My avatar was made by [link] ^3^ --  The shine on the shoes and her corset look great, as does the piece as a whole. Her posture and body language seem to be challenging the rain, and I like that.
 The umbrella's positioning and the rain surrounding it are top-notch.If I had to critique anything, it'd be the fact that her legs have very little shape to them. I'd have to take another glance at the reference picture to judge the angle, but it looks like she doesn't have ankles or calves. Also, the shadow on her left shoulderblade seems a tad dark. I see what you mean and you're right. It's kind of hard to work fine curves on such a rough paper but I'm getting better with it.
