Portrait of the lovely Miss Danielle Lorti, aka *XxArizonaxX, her picture titled Against Her Alabaster Lips

Unlike "Ira", I got the chance to speak to this model. She is a unique woman, humble as one can be, a major workaholic ;) a talented model and her own photographer, and the owner of an unparalleled sense of humor.

Total work time: Approximately 26 hours

Tools:
Pencils 4H, 2H, H, B, 2B, 4B, 6B
Tortillion
Soft tissue (which is now black)
Eraser and sandpaper to sharpen it
Scrap napkin (so my hand has something to rest on instead of smudging the piece)

Daily Deviation

Given 2008-08-07

" Danielle by =duststorm10 kind of looked like a monochrome photo to me at first, that's how good it is. There's been a magnificent amount of detail put into everything, her hair, her shirt, the bed, you can even see the bones in her hand that she's putting up to her hand! The shading and lighting in this is also beyond perfect! " (Suggested by =Waluigi-Prower and Featured by ^PurpelBlur)

:tears: its so good. oh the hate.

anyway, i feel like her eyelashes are some how. i don't know what it is though. its seems like they were too....uh, carefully i guess. if that makes sense. it doesn't, i know.it's like they look so perfect and in place and they should be a little more whispy. nuts, is that a word? spellcheck ftw. wispy. :P

:wow: that one is very good, amazing.
it looks very realistic, especially the upper part, the hair and the face, it seems to be a photograph; if one looks towards the hand and the shirt, though, one notices it's actually a drawing. (that one actually took me quite long)
i agree with jupiterkat2007 concerning the eyelashes, in the original picture they look more natural, especially at the right (so danielle's left) eye, in your drawing they are almost all equally long, i think they need a bit more swing.
but all in all, really, this one's close to perfection. very good, my compliment!

It's just a question of time
