AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
This took forever. Damn I got SO tired of drawing but I just had to finish it. Wow. Geez. You'd think I'd stop doing art for a bit, but I actually look forward to starting the tutorial within the week. Made for =JurgenDoe's Kate Beckinsale fan art contest, found here. I used the photo reference found here. Be sure to check out the other entries in the contest and throw some well-deserved Okay, so about the piece. I've been working on this drawing since the day after Christmas, when I got a few art supplies that greatly helped my effort, listed below. This is the longest I've ever spent on a drawing and the most details I've ever put into one. Kate Beckinsale, for those of you who don't know her, is an actress who has played in movies like Underworld, Click, Serendipity, Van Helsing (which is her role in this picture), and several others. Just check her Wikipedia page for a list. Time Taken: I lost track, but I estimate somewhere between 50 and 55 hours Tools Used: Pencil H, 2B, Mechanical pencil 0.7 mm, technical pencil 0.3 mm, kneaded eraser, sharpened erasers, 120-grit sandpaper, tortillion, soft tissues, paintbrush, iTunes (coupled with the world's finest playlist Download for ludicrous detail. EDIT: My second Daily Deviation, eh? Thanks to =icydevil0 for his suggestion and ^PurpelBlur for accepting it! Daily DeviationGiven 2009-02-08Hot dang check out that detail..in pencil! Comments
